A.        Pony Solider LLC is proposing to subdivide the SW ¼, SW ¼ SW ¼ Section 17, Township11N, Range 31E NMPM in Tucumcari, Quay County, New Mexico being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at corner 1, the SW corner of the herein described parcel whence the SW corner of said Section 17 bears S74 25’ 30” W, a distance of 374.95 feet: thence N. 00 00’41” W, a distance of 310.91 feet to corner 2; thence N 89 42’27” E, a distance of 300.38 feet to corner 3, thence S 00 01’ 42” W a distance of 310.72 feet to corner 4 thence S 89 40’16” W a distance of 300.16 feet to corner, the point of beginning.  Said tract contains 2.143 acres more or less, Quay County within the City Limits of the City of Tucumcari, New Mexico.  The subdivision is being considered under provision of 3-19-5 of the New Mexico State Statutes (NMSA 1978) and Subdivision Ordinance 623.  (Schedule Hearing)

B.         Mesalands Community College, applicant has requested to vacate Twelfth Street between Blocks 16, 17, 26, 27, 30, 31, 40, 41, 44, 45, 52 & 53, Thirteenth Street between 18, 19, 24, 25, 32, 33, 38, 39, 46, 47, 51 & 52, Rankin between 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 & 33 and Barnes between 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, & 47 of the Ideal Homes Addition.  Pursuant to New Mexico State Statutes Annotated (1978), Section 3-20-12 applicant has filed a petition requesting the vacation of the above stated streets. C.        Variance Application 05-04, Mesalands Community College, applicant requests to place a Wind Turbine at a height of 75 or 100 meters to be located on Block 31, 32, 39 & 40 of the Ideal Homes Addition (1100 W. Rankin & 1100 W. Barnes Street).  Ordinance requirements have a maximum height requirement of 50', otherwise described and stated on Table 3 of said Ordinance 862.  Variance Application 05-04 is being considered under the provisions of Section 21 of City Zoning Ordinance 917 and Section XVIII & XIY of City Ordinance 862.
