NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the hour of 5:15 PM in City Hall Commission Chambers, 215 E. Center Street, Tucumcari, New Mexico, the Tucumcari Planning Commission will hear public comments opposing to or in support of: Variance Application 2006-03, Danny Patel, Sleep Inn & Suites dba Roshan Lodging LLC and Roshan Enterprises LLC, owner/applicant requests to build a 55.6’ (four story) Motel in the Whittington Subdivision, Block 1, Lots 1 & 2 (SW ¼ SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 17, Township 11 N, Range 31 E. (3507 and 3519 E. Tucumcari Blvd.). Zoning Ordinance requirements are maximum height of 45’ or three stories whichever is the least, otherwise described and stated in Section 10 D 5 of said Ordinance 917. Variance Application 2006-03 is being considered under the provisions of Section 21 of City Zoning Ordinance 917. Being that the applicant has filed a valid application with the office of the Zoning Administrator, City of Tucumcari, New Mexico, respondents are invited to attend this hearing or to reply in writing to the Tucumcari Planning Commission, P.O. Box 1188, Tucumcari, New Mexico 88401. All written responses including petitions received on or before 5:00 PM, June 26, 2006, will be read and considered at the hearing, written responses received or presented after this time will not be considered. Center Street, Tucumcari, New Mexico, the Tucumcari Planning & Zoning Commission will hear public comments opposing to or in support of: Annexation of Contiguous Territory to the City of Tucumcari, New Mexico located in Section 22, Township 11, Range 30 also know as the Tucumcari 11th Street Tanks (Section 22, 23, 27, & 26; thence N 00°05’ E along section line a distance of 1,115.0’ to a point #1, thence 30 Feet N 89° 36’ W to the southeast corner point #2 of the tract of land described herewith. Thence 300.0 feet N 89° 36’ W to the southwest corner point #3 of the tract of land described herewith; thence 600.0 feet N 00° 05’ E to the northwest corner, point #4 of the tract of land described herewith; thence 300.0 feet S 89° 36’ E to the northeast corner, point #5 of the tract of land described herewith; thence 600.0 feet S 00° 05’ W to the point #2 of beginning Approximately 4 acres).
